Obere Strubklamm
You are only allowed to enter this canyon with one of following companies:
Bachlerteam, Club Alpin, Club montee, Club Zwilling
- Location:
- From Salzburg south on the Highway. Exit at Hallein. Turn right twice
to the hospital and continue on the Wiestalbundesstrasse towards Adnet.
Following this street will bring you to the Wiestal lake. Uprivers of
the Wiestal lake you will find the Obere Strubklamm.

- General:
- The special thing of this canyon is that there is no current
and that it is one of the most scenic canyons around Salzburg. There
are longer swimming passages and jumps without end (and heights
up to 8 meters).
- Difficulty:
- Easy - A wetsuit is all you need. Maybe you want to wear a helmet,
because of falling rocks. Amount of time: around 2 hours
