- Grade I(easy):
- View: clear
Water: clean currents and small waves
Riverbed: easy obstacles
- Grade II(moderately easy):
- View: clear path
Water: slightly turbulent currents, waves, easy rapids,
Riverbed: easy obstacles in the main current, small steps
- Grade III(difficult):
- View:

Another way to describe it
- Grade I:
- Get your speedos and go for a swim (if its deep enough :-)
- Grade II:
- Take your friends on their first kayaking trips
- Grade III:
- They will go for their first swim here ...
- Grade IV:
- and here you can have fun yourself.
- Grade V:
- Sometimes it would be nice to be able to breath in between the waves, stoppers,
holes...
- Grade VI:
- You can shit yourself here without a necessary excuse

- A wetsuit is enough
- Grade II:
- A PFD becomes interesting
- Grade III:
- Big fun with a lilo
- Grade IV:
- What about a kayak?
