Thanks to the cheap flight from HLX I decided to travel to the 1st European MUni and Trails Convention in Fakse ladeplads in Denmark.

Everything started on tuesday when I arrived in Hamburg and the whole day was a sightseeing tour along the harbour, the Hafencity and the citycenter. On the next morning I met Jan and Tobias and we drove all the way to Fakse ladeplads in Denmark.

When we arrived there it was an overwhelming feeling: an indoor and outdoor parcour that couldn’t be better was ready for us. After unpacking we hopped on the MUnis and enjoyed the obstacles. This became the standard programm for the next days but additionally there was a special thing every day:

Once it was a trialcompetition (Kris Holm won with just one obstacle missing), then a MUni ride in the denish mountains. For the athletes there was the 100m slowrace (with a new world record – 1min and a little bit) and the 100m speedrace (15secs). Jumpy people took part in the high jump (Winner: 98cm) and/or the wide jump (Winner: 240m). For stairlovers there was the stairrace (sidehopping up a stair and riding it down afterwards) and directly in Fakse ladeplads we competed in the Speedtrial – 4 triallines that were exactly the same and then with speed over them ….

Overall it was an amazing event and I can wait ‚til 2007 when there will be another meeting in Fakse ladeplads
